Research and development of applications of dilelectric strain sensors in geotechnics

Extenzo-Geo projekt

Objective of project is research and development and implementation of dielectric deformation sensors as multilevel dielectric extensometer and other applications for monitoring of geotechnical constructions and objects. Modular measurement system with possibility of use of sensors in chains is to be developed. Unit for analysis and data control with software will be constructed.

This progressive technology enables the use of dielectric measurement instruments in environments with strong electromagnetic fields. Automation of measurements and data acquisition will be possible after the fix installation of instruments without high increase of price. Thanks to innovative solution of data transfer, measured values readout can be done as remote, without attendance of the instrumented location. This technology is offered abroad, but its extents do not satisfy the current demands on geotechnical measurements.

Measurement procedure will be certified and competitiveness of the Czech Republic abroad increased. 

Duration: January 2011 - December 2013

Prestigious aviation fair AERO Friedrichshafen

At the prestigious Aviation AERO Friedrichshafen trade fair was presented (Advanced Flying Laboratory), Phoenix Air U-15 AFL, based on all carbon composite aircraft, equipped with integral sensor systems and a new generation of optoelectronic measuring unit FBGuard.
